ABOUT ME
Harshvardhan Chunawala graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with Master of Science in Information Technology-Information Security. He serves as a Visiting Professor at Xavier Institute of Engineering, his alma mater where he teaches secured cloud computing to engineering students. He currently helps innovate startups in North America as a Solutions Architect in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Harshvardhan Chunawala served as a Mission Operator for Iris Lunar Rover Mission on Peregrine Mission One and operated the rover at a lunar distance. He was also the space mission engineering lead at INI CMU where he developed technical pathways in space missions to train students. Harshvardhan holds 2 design patents in IoT.
Harshvardhan founded Bite Media at the age of 17, it was created with a vision to create and provide with best Web-Development, Design & Web Services. After serving numerous customers worldwide, it led to the birth of Bite Group which has five subsidiaries spanning across Web Development, Cybersecurity, AI/ML and GIS. He mentored several startups to help them maximize potential and worked with multiple Fortune 100 companies to secure them.Organizations

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory
Contributed to the Transactive Energy Services System (TESS) project, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, building cloud infrastructure for grid modernization.
Carnegie Mellon University (CMU)
Served as a practicum developer for space mission engineering, focusing on cybersecurity in space systems, and mentored students working on cloud and security-focused projects. Lead Teaching assistant for Cloud Security and Cyber Risk Modelling.
Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE)
Visiting Professor of Practice, teaching cloud computing and cybersecurity principles to engineering students, fostering the next generation of cloud professionals.
